to watch the world go by with plenty of water sport activities on offer.
The Isle of May is a bird sanctuary island that can be visited by boat and
makes a great day out for the family |

The sunrises and sunsets are breath-taking and for those who like star
gazing the sky on a clear night is awesome! Elie is a very special place.
During the summer we enjoy very long lazy summer days with very
little darkness. Golfers can Tee-Off as early as 04:30 AM in
June/July!! |

Lazy days during the summer watching the kids build sandcastles on
the vast sandy beach. The beach stretches from Elie to
Earlsferry with perfect sand for the kids to play in. The long
summer evenings are perfect for strolling on the beach. |

Elie is famous for "cricket on the beach". The antics of
the "cricketers" can be observed from the "beer garden" of the local pub the
Ship Inn. Starting
times are governed by the local "tides". The above is the

In the winter time the sun still shines in Elie and there is still lots
to see and do. Locals say Elie has it's own unique climate with little rain and
plenty of sunshine. A theory backed-up by the golf course having no winter
greens. A local Green keeper once described Elie as "Gods own Country for
golf". |

During the summer many holiday makers and locals gather
outside the famous Ship Inn and watch the Sea and Beach life go by.
The barbeque swings into action and beverages flow freely from the
bar. What better way to relax on your holidays. |
